GAIA's Story
Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association (GAIA) is a non-profit association of artificial intelligence professionals and enthusiasts, founded in 2023.
Who We Are
GAIA's mission is to support Georgia's economic development by promoting the adoption of AI by society and business.
The association works to spread education about artificial intelligence and supports the academic, private, and public sectors in the introduction and development of AI technologies.
The main goal is the development of artificial intelligence in Georgia. GAIA is a long-term initiative that brings together different types of projects and stakeholders.
Association members include leading data science and artificial intelligence professionals, representatives from the private sector, and people interested in artificial intelligence and data science.

Our 3 Priorities
Developing a New Generation of AI Talent
We create new opportunities to discover young talent and support their education and career development.
Our main activities:
- The national AI literacy programme and school AI clubs
- The AI League, the national olympiad and Georgia's team at international competitions
- The Student AI Research Club and mentoring for young talent
Supporting AI Adoption in Society and Business
We help people and organisations better understand what artificial intelligence can do and use it effectively in their work and personal lives.
Our main activities:
- Corporate training and advisory for businesses
- AI readiness assessments for organisations and support with adopting AI
- Research, awareness raising and sharing experience
Strengthening Georgia's Professional AI Community
We support the growth of an AI community in Georgia, encourage sharing knowledge and experience, and help the Georgian AI ecosystem develop internationally.
Our main activities:
- Regular meetups, workshops and discussions
- Crossroads AI, the AI Summit and Awards, and other themed events
- Building local and international professional connections
